Research Scientist, Immunology Research, Drug Discovery
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-oriented Scientist II/III to join the Discovery Sciences group within Immunology & Respiratory Research in Ridgefield, CT. The successful candidate will contribute to the discovery and characterization of novel therapeutic approaches by developing and applying immunology-focused in vitro assays to support target validation, mechanism-of-action studies, and translational research. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in cellular immunology, understanding of pharmacology and drug discovery principles, scientific curiosity, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary research teams.

- Design and execute cellular and immunology assays to generate reliable data that support target validation and compound characterization
- Perform diverse immunology- related laboratory techniques to produce high-quality results that drive project decisions
- Analyze and communicate experimental findings through reports, presentations, and team discussions to guide next steps and project strategy
- Collaborate with scientists across functions to solve scientific challenges and achieve project milestones on time
- Maintain accurate records and follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant and reproducible research
- Experience designing and executing cellular immunology-related and/or pharmacology assays
- Proficiency in molecular, biochemical, and cellular laboratory techniques; with a focus on generating high-quality, reproducible data
- Mammalian cell culture experience is required
