Pest Control Technician

Location:

Ridgefield, CT

Pay Range: $20 - $24/hr (pay dependent upon experience)

JP McHale Pest Management LLC, an Anticimex Company, is one of the top professional pest control companies nationwide. Our Ridgefield Branch is looking for experienced Pest Control Technicians.

As a Pest Control Technician, you will provide the vital link between our company and our clients through exceptional customer service. You will seek to solve existing pest problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent future pest problems. Overall, you'll spend your day helping other people in your community by solving their pest challenges, building long-term relationships with those on your route, and protecting their homes and businesses.

• Knowledge of pest control products, services, treatments, regulations, and safety procedures.
• CT Pest Control License required.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to enter/exit structures and crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to visually inspect for pests, pest entries, etc.
• Ability to tolerate variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
• Follow all JP McHale Pest Management Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Follow OSHA/FIFRA policies and procedures when carrying out pest control services.
• Operate company vehicle safely; maintain vehicle to comply with DOT and company guidelines.
• Complete services as scheduled and provide appropriate documentation of services performed.
• Act quickly and effectively to address actual or potential problems.
• Meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
