Maintenance Technician

We are searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at an apartment community in Marrero, LA. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs, and apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, while assisting the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, and conduct basic carpentry work.
• Handle general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and related forms to ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Commit to exceptional customer service at all times.

• HVAC certification with 3 or more years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
• Availability for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Background screening and drug test required.
