• Assists the driver with the transportation of students to and from school.
• Assists the students with all safety facets while en-route, as well as the boarding and disembarking, and seatbelts.
• Develops positive professional relationship with parents, school staff, and students.
• Observes all passengers at all times and ensures they are following safety rules.
• Assists the driver in reporting bus safety concerns or incidents by students.
• Is aware of conflicts between students and keeps those students separated by assigning seats.
• Evacuates students from vehicle as trained in case of emergency.
• Assists driver with pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintains student conduct at all times.
• Ensures students take their belongings as they leave the vehicle.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.

• Must be able to pass pre-employment background.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Clean Background Check and Driving Record.
• Prior PMT is a plus and may be provided by the district.
• Ability to receive and carry out instructions to perform work.

$20/hr, Approximately 2.5 - 5 hrs/day
