- Direct and lead the band program and provide quality music instruction.
- Plan and conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
- Select and prepare music appropriate for students and performances.
- Teach musical skills, including technique, theory, sight-reading, and ensemble performance.
- Manage the band calendar, including rehearsals, performances, trips, and events.
- Maintain and oversee instruments, uniforms, music, and equipment.
- Monitor student progress, attendance, behavior, and participation.
- Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, staff, and administration.
- Coordinate with other music staff and school personnel.
- Follow school policies and district procedures, including those related to student safety and supervision.
- Promote school spirit and pride through performances and participation in school activities.
- Support student leadership and teamwork within the band program.
- Handle program budgeting and purchasing in accordance with district procedures.
- Stipend Range $6,402.00-$8,209 (SY-26-27)
