A Brief Overview The QA Operations & Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations and packaging. This role ensures execution of inspection processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. The Supervisor leads frontline QA staff, supports issue resolution, and partners with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement in day-to-day operations.

What you will do

Execute and oversee quality inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards
Supervise QA staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and day-to-day oversight
Partner with Production to address quality issues in real-time, minimize downtime, and support efficient operations
Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, GDP, FDA, and internal quality systems; support audits and documentation requirements
Support root cause investigations and CAPA implementation
Assist during internal and external audits
Monitor quality metrics and escalate trends or concerns
Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Maintain accurate records and reporting for quality activities

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)

Experience Qualifications

4-6 years of quality assurance or quality control experience in manufacturing (Required)
1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and regulatory standards (High proficiency)
Quality inspection and compliance processes (High proficiency)
Cross-functional collaboration (High proficiency)
Problem-solving (root cause analysis, CAPA) (Medium proficiency)
Data analysis and basic SPC (Medium proficiency)
Continuous improvement methodologies (Medium proficiency)
Team leadership and coaching (Medium proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar (Preferred)
