Regular Full-Time Professional MS - Ridgeland/Corporate, Ridgeland, MS, US

The Accountant is responsible for a wide variety of accounting responsibilities including budgeting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and expense reimbursement review, entering journal entries, and mastery of the accounting system (Sage Intacct).

• Reviews accounts payable to ensure accurate account coding
• Reviews and reconciles accounts receivable
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts
• Assists with special projects requiring data compilation and analysis
• Manages and maintains accounting system
• Researches and investigates opportunities to better utilize the accounting system
• Contract invoicing and reporting compliance
• Assists with budget changes throughout the year
• Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department
• Regular and timely attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Teams
• 0-3 years general accounting experience preferred

This position is on-site at our corporate office in Ridgeland, MS.
