Operations Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Construction Project Coordinator / Construction Administrator
to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception through completion. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to implementation and close-out.
Serve as a central point of contact and communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, engineers, and project teams.
Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress to ensure milestones are met.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, submittals, and progress reports.
Assist with procurement and logistics—ordering materials, tracking deliveries, and coordinating site needs.
Track expenditures, support budget control, and assist in preparing financial reports.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders.
Support risk management by identifying potential issues and recommending mitigation strategies.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in construction project coordination, administration, or similar role.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of construction documents, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred:
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings.
Familiarity with quality control, safety inspection protocols, and field coordination.
