Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Apply cash and monitor incoming payments, including online payment systems
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Generate and manipulate reports, including populating data across systems
- Issue payments, including manual check processing and claim payments
- Track and follow up on outstanding or unclaimed payments
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2-5 years of experience in a staff accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage large data sets and multiple priorities
- Interest in process improvement and continuous learning
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Pay Range:
The lowest to highest compensation range we reasonably state in good faith for this role. Final compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and business needs.
