Performs other tasks as assigned by the Nursing Home Administer
- In assigned areas, perform daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting procedures .
- Able to lift 0 - 40 lb. frequently.
- Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
- Capable of lifting furniture and equipment (25 - 100 lb.) frequently.
- Capable of pushing and pulling furniture and equipment (25 - 100 lb.) frequently.
- Must be able to handle/interact with all chemicals used (i.e., bleach, wax, etc.).
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and even other hours as needed per assigned area.
- Must have communication skills in English.
- Follow all infection control protocols consistent with CMS F-Tag requirements (including F880 Infection Prevention & Control).
- Adhere to The Arbor's Infection Control Plan and Emergency Preparedness Plan.
- Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code requirements related to environmental cleanliness and safe egress pathways.
- Participate in facility-wide survey readiness efforts and corrective action plans.
- Immediately report environmental hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
