Med Surg Stroke Nurse

Role Overview:

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing conditions, performing procedures, administering medications, and documenting care. They collaborate with medical teams, respond promptly to patient needs, and educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments.

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform medical procedures, monitor responses, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications and address any adverse reactions.
• Respond to patient requests proactively, providing compassionate care.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of care plans and medication use.

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma;
  Bachelor's preferred.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Current RN license in practice state(s) or active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
