The QA Analyst is part of the Training and Quality Assurance Department and reports to the Training and Quality Assurance Department Manager. The position is non‑exempt, hourly role and is located at 500 Steed Road, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
GeneralJob Duties and Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and evaluating operational processes and transactions across multiple departments within MWGA. This role ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory standards (including HIPAA), and client‑specific requirements. The QA Analyst plays a critical role in identifying process gaps, improving accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through data‑driven insights and coaching feedback. - Measure accuracy in auditing per MWGA documentation, policy administration, and customer service
- Provide support referencing quality assurance processes and procedures for QA Analysts conducting audits
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions to reduce risk
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company procedures and state/federal regulations
- Conduct daily audits of transactions across all MWGA departments
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHI, POA, etc.)
- Evaluate work received via multiple intake channels, including service request tickets, email, fax, and mail
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate’s or bachelor's degree preferred - Insurance administration or insurance support experience required
- Must have general computer skills and be knowledgeable in MS Outlook, Windows, Excel, and other relevant software
- Must have basic data entry skills and above‑average mathematical ability
- Must be able to learn and be proficient with the software used in the TPA
- Must possess strong time management, organizational, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
- Must work well under pressure with multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Experience with document management within an administrative system and Share Point
- Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong computer skills required
- Work effectively and collaboratively with others
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
- Ability to multi‑task, organize, and prioritize work
- Ability to navigate through multiple systems
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Exercises confidentiality in all areas, abiding by HIPAA rules and regulations
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written

- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and sit or stand at a desk during 85% of the time
- Must be able to lift, stoop, and carry small equipment items and supplies, possibly weighing up to 50 lbs.
