The Enrollment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ridgeland, MS. This role is responsible for guiding employees through the enrollment process for Aflac insurance products, explaining plan options, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of enrollment forms and documentation. Daily tasks include coordinating group enrollments, answering questions about benefits and coverage, supporting credentialing requirements, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
The Enrollment Specialist collaborates with employer representatives and internal teams to schedule enrollment meetings, conduct presentations, provide ongoing customer service, and resolve enrollment-related issues. This role requires a strong focus on clear communication, professionalism, and a high level of service to both employers and employees.
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex benefit information clearly and professionally.
- Experience with Credentialing processes and accurate documentation for insurance or healthcare-related services.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a track record of supporting clients or employees in a service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Employee Benefits and Insurance concepts, especially group benefits and supplemental insurance products.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple enrollments and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Ridgeland, MS and collaborate effectively with employers and internal teams.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, enrollment platforms) and data entry.
- Preferred:
Prior experience in benefits administration, insurance enrollment, or HR support; relevant licensing may be an advantage depending on state requirements.
