Location:

Ridgeland, MS Pay: $25-$33/hr DOE

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician who has hands-on experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage systems. Candidates should have experience with structured cabling, access control, CCTV, security systems, and/or fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or educational environments.

• Install and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
• Install and troubleshoot access control systems including card readers, mag locks, strikes, and security doors
• Install and maintain CCTV and IP camera systems
• Install and support fire alarm and security systems
• Perform RJ45 terminations, patch panel terminations, and cable testing
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system drawings
• Troubleshoot low voltage systems and perform repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate installation and service documentation
• Follow all jobsite safety and quality standards

• Minimum 2 years of low voltage installation experience
• Experience with at least 3 of the following:
  • Access Control
  • CCTV / Surveillance Systems
  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Fiber Optic Cabling
  • Structured Cabling
  • Security Systems
  • Data Communications Cabling
• Experience with cable termination and testing
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• NCCER Electrical
• Experience working in data centers, healthcare, schools, or commercial facilities
• Experience with mag locks, card readers, and security hardware
• Fiber certification or testing experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in:

• Security Integration Projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeland, MS.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
