Temporary Assignment Notice

This position is a temporary placement with an anticipated duration of 3–6 months. The assignment length is tentative and may be adjusted based on departmental needs.

Support the Outpatient Care Center, Centralized Department, and patient by providing a variety of services including:

• Registration
• Scheduling
• Admitting
• Database management
• Information processing
• Patient/department support
• Materials/inventory management
• Education/development
• Unit‑specific tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal business/medical training preferred.
• Completion of BA training program required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred.

At least 3 to 6 months experience as a Business Assistant or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of a Windows environment.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Medical office experience required.

• Effective communication, writing, and proper spelling and grammar.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with co‑workers and other staff members.
• Effective critical thinking skills, including analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, prioritizing, and time management.
• Ability to pay attention to details, handle task switching without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Typing/keyboarding 30wpm minimum.

Pay Range: $19.81 - $24.76 per hour
