Overview
Glen/Ridge Elementary School is seeking dedicated Part-Time ABA Paraprofessionals for the academic year. This role supports students with autism in a dynamic educational setting. You will work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized educational plans (IEPs), utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to foster a positive learning environment. WorkingConditions
- Start Date and End Date: ASAP - June 30, 2026
- Part-Time Position
- Schedule:
5 days a week, 5.75 hours per day (Total: 28.75 hours/week)
- General Education or Special Education Paraprofessional: $21,215.00 per year
- ABA Non-Certified Paraprofessional: $24,455.00 per year
- ABA Certified Paraprofessional: $28,257.00 per year

Physical Safety and Professional StandardsThe staff member must maintain a physical presentation that does not pose a hazard during student interactions or physical interventions. This includes a requirement that jewelry, piercings, or clothing accessories be minimized or secured in a manner that prevents them from being grabbed, caught, or causing injury during the performance of essential duties. The district reserves the right to require the removal or covering of any items deemed a foreseeable safety risk within the special education classroom setting.

- Capable and willing to assist students' physical needs, personal care and daily living activities, as needed.
- Ability to implement strategies to support positive student behavior and foster engagement.
- Willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, including classroom teachers, Child Study Team, BCBA, and related service providers.
- Experience supporting students in an ABA or similar structured learning environment is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
- Must meet criminal background check.
