The Holmstead School, an approved private school for students with disabilities in Ridgewood, New Jersey, is seeking a Spanish Teacher to join our collaborative and student-centered team.

The Spanish Teacher will provide engaging, structured instruction to small classes of high school students with diverse learning, emotional, and behavioral needs. Instruction is aligned with New Jersey World Language standards and adapted to meet individual student learning styles and IEP goals.

• Deliver differentiated Spanish instruction in small class settings.
• Adapt curriculum and assessments to support diverse learners.
• Support IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with the school team.

• NJ Teacher of Spanish (Standard, CEAS, or CE).
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
