Position Overview
As a Part‑time Teller within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Ridgewood, NJ at the Ridgewood Branch. You will deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing, creating loyalty, and increasing share of wallet.
PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture. The role does not qualify for sponsorship of employment visas.
Job Description- Processes a variety of customer interactions and educates customers on alternatives and banking opportunities, making appropriate referrals.
- Engages customers in the lobby and positions PNC products to meet their needs.
- Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment and ensuring teller and branch operations are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Customer Focused – knowledgeable of values and practices that prioritize customer needs and satisfaction.
- Managing Risk – assess and manage all risks associated with business objectives and activities.
- Required:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus related experience or certifications. Prior experience is not required; a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered. - Preferred:
Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience (CX), Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales. - Competencies:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Addressing Customer Needs, Banking Products, Digital Awareness, Effective Communications, Fraud Detection and Prevention, Managing Multiple Priorities, Matrix Management, Problem Solving, Understanding Customer Needs. - Education:

Base Salary: $17.31 – $28.85. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
