My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Ridley Park, PA details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $71.03 an hr based on experience
- 12 Month Assignment Possibility of Extension or Conversion based on performance and budget
- Mon-Fri
- The position will mainly be responsible for supporting the development and refinement of manufacturing processes for airframe components and assemblies
- Assist with productibility reviews and manufacturing readiness efforts for new or revised designs
- Translate engineering drawings, models, specifications, and requirements into practical manufacturing processes and work instructions
- Help define tooling, fixtures, jigs, and assembly methods to support efficient production
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support root cause analysis for defects, escapes, and process disruptions
- Collaborate with design engineering to improve manufacturability, assembly sequence, cost, and quality
- Assist in maintaining manufacturing documentation such as process plans, work instructions, and special process requirements
- Support production line problem resolution using engineering analysis and structured problem-solving methods.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience working with mechanical assemblies or manufacturing processes, preferably in aerospace, defense, or another high-reliability industry
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
