You’ll play an important role in supporting the Diagnostic Imaging department by providing friendly, efficient service to patients while keeping scheduling and administrative functions running smoothly.
- Welcome and assist patients in person and by phone, providing professional and courteous customer service.
- Answer a multi-line telephone system, relay messages, and schedule or reschedule patient appointments.
- Register patients for Diagnostic Imaging exams and provide accurate preparation instructions.
- Process and distribute reports to the appropriate destinations and maintain patient forms and records.
- Perform general clerical and secretarial duties, including ordering office supplies and supporting the daily operations of the department.
- Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for a customer-focused, organized, and dependable professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, works well with patients and coworkers, and can quickly learn new systems and processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; an associate degree in a business-related field is a plus.
- Two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and navigate computer-based applications and healthcare systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, third-party payers, employers, physicians, coworkers, and administrative staff.
- Spanish-language skills are preferred but not required.
- Pay Range:$17.50-$21.87/hour (based on experience)

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
