Job Description

Every Rifle Middle School student will achieve and sustain a trajectory of positive academic growth and receive the supports needed to contribute productively to the RMS community because we exist to nurture and effectively teach the whole adolescent child to be prepared to take their next steps.
Position Summary: The Dean of Students works with the building Principal to instill a productive learning climate in the Middle School conducive to student learning while emphasizing mutual respect and safety. The Dean manages the 7th and 8th grade behavior management system with consistency, support, fairness, and adherence to school and district policies and practices. The Dean works as part of a school team to promote good attendance rates.
The Dean identifies students with attendance issues or disciplinary problems and partners with parents and staff to address those issues to create a positive outcome as described in the description below.

Status: Full Time, 36 Hours Per Week, 170 Days

Salary Range:
In District Experience Salary Range: $71,865-$113,324
No in district experience range: $71,865-$85,885
