Position SummarySignificant Support Needs Paraprofessional provides individualized support to a student with significant support needs to help them access the educational environment safely and successfully. Working under the supervision of a special education teacher and school staff, the paraprofessional assists with academic tasks, behavior support, communication, personal care, and social interaction to promote independence and participation in school activities.
Responsibilities- Assist with academic tasks.
- Provide behavior support.
- Facilitate communication.
- Support personal care and self‑care skills.
• Experience working with students with significant support needs is preferred.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a special education teacher and school staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range17.41–18.84 per hour (no in‑district experience)
