Plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff at the Grand River Health Care Center. Supports the long-term care team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness that promote comfort, dignity, and infection prevention.

• Cleans and maintains resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and shared care center spaces.
• Restocks linens, paper products, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintains housekeeping storage areas and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
• Operates commercial cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor machines, and utility carts.
• Safely moves furniture and equipment to complete cleaning tasks.
• Transports cleaning supplies and laundry throughout the care center.
• Follows safety, infection control, and PPE requirements at all times.
• Assists with additional housekeeping or care center support tasks as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and clean DMV record is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least one-year experience in a similar position preferred.

Our total rewards package includes

• Pay Range: $16.00 - $21.30/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
