Works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients with stable, acute, and chronic illnesses. Orders, interprets, and documents clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and recommends therapeutic treatments. Relies on extensive experience, clinical expertise, and sound judgment to plan and accomplish patient care goals.
- Provide comprehensive patient care across the Emergency Department, ICU, Medical/Surgical, Cardiology, Step-Down, and Post-Surgical ICU units, including admissions, rounds, consultations, and discharge management.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies, including laboratory tests, EKGs, and radiologic imaging, under the supervision of the attending physician.
- Perform procedures, conduct device interrogations, and manage complex arrhythmia's and medication regimens.
- Coordinate rehabilitation services, home health care, follow-up care, and post-operative management to ensure continuity of care.
- Stabilize patients requiring advanced cardiovascular or trauma life support and coordinate transfer to specialized care when necessary.
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients across the lifespan. and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage complex patient needs across multiple care settings.
- Active Colorado DORA licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the applicable specialty area, with Colorado authority for advanced practice.
- Current ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained throughout employment; ATLS certification preferred.
- One to five years of experience as a Hospitalist or in a comparable clinical setting preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced clinical concepts, assessment techniques, treatment planning, and evidence-based patient care practices.
- Ability to accurately document patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ethical standards, patient safety practices, and the proper use of medical equipment and clinical instruments.

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
