Compensation
Pay Range: $15.16 - $22.00 per hour, equal to or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly, and performance premiums paid in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations.
- Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence or when working opposing shifts.
- Lead the store team members in servicing customers and providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
- Ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours.
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Participate in hiring: recruitment tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and coordinating with management to select qualified team members.
- Maintain telephone answering per company policy.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner, contacting customers on shipment arrivals.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately, issue refunds, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
- Invoice merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages, coordinate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
- Ensure team members comply with company policies, posted schedules, and clocking procedures.
- Perform store opening and closing duties: day‑end procedures, verify and secure money/deposits, prepare bank deposits, secure security systems, lock doors, and secure delivery vehicles.
- Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, hardware, test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Required:
Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification. - Desired:
Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
