Compensation
Pay Range: $15.16 - $22.00 hourly. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Job OverviewThe Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team members execute on customer service programs (e.g., Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner, contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly manner, issue refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages, Image Maker, and merchandising tasks, delegating and completing as assigned.
- Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule; approved changes/deviations are managed and members clock in/out per company policy.
- Perform store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring security lights, locking doors, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must obtain RSS Certification.
- Desired:
Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts. - Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
- ASE Certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
