Overview
Our client, a leading provider of trusted support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), is seeking an experienced Payroll & Billing Manager to join their team. This organization is dedicated to fostering dignity, independence, and inclusion by delivering exceptional care and ensuring operational excellence. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of their financial processes while supporting a mission-driven environment.

- Prepare, process, and submit all billing through Oregon's eXPRS portal.
- Manage biweekly payroll using Paychex, ensuring accuracy of time entries, deductions, and benefits.
- Monitor service authorizations and funding allocations for correct billing and payroll alignment.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts, resolving discrepancies.
- Generate reports and assist with audits as requested.
- Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and state representatives.
- Uphold confidentiality and data security standards.
- Ensure stakeholders receive required weekly reports.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in billing and payroll.
- Experience with Paychex or similar payroll software.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with Well Sky or similar healthcare billing platforms.
- Prior work experience in I/DD services.
- Knowledge of Oregon Medicaid billing processes and regulations.
