Position Title: Spanish Teacher
Reports To: Principal
Hours: M/W: 12:15 p.m.
- 3:30 p.m., T/TH: 10:15 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m.

Core Responsibilities- Use student data to guide instruction and drive outcomes
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in small groups with differentiated instruction
- Establish and maintain strong classroom management systems and routines
- Build respectful, productive relationships with students
- Implement accommodations to support all learners
- Collaborate with team members to refine instruction and improve outcomes
- Participate in coaching, feedback, and professional development
Staff are expected to contribute beyond the classroom by:
- Maintaining consistent daily work hours aligned to school expectations
- Participating in Parent-Teacher Conferences, Project Nights, and school events
- Engaging in feedback cycles and ongoing professional growth
- Collaborating consistently with team members
- Contributing to a positive, professional school culture
All staff are expected to consistently implement and align to:
- The Alturas instructional model
- IB programming (for AIA/APA roles, where applicable)
- Data-driven instruction and measurable student growth
- School wide systems for behavior, classroom management, and support
