Job Summary:
As a Certified Technician at Broulim's Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting with prescription processing, medication preparation, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients, helping to deliver personalized pharmacy solutions and contributing to the well-being of our community.
- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently, including data entry.
- Prepare and label prescription medications according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Assist pharmacists with inventory management tasks, such as receiving, stocking, and ordering medications.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Handle incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy staff member.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy area, including cleaning and sanitizing work spaces and equipment.
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and maintaining patient records.
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in prescription processing systems and pharmacy software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, drug classifications, and common medications.
- Communication:
Excellent communication skills for interacting with pharmacy staff and patients. - Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail for accurately preparing and labeling medications. - Organization:
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Customer Service:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- Previous experience working as a retail pharmacy technician.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
