Description

A well established residential home services company serving the Rigby and Idaho Falls area is hiring a Lead HVAC Installer. This is a lead role on residential installs, running furnace, air conditioner, and heat pump changeouts and new system installs from start to finish with a helper alongside you. The company is stable, busy year round, and backed by a larger group with real training, equipment, and advancement behind it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead residential HVAC installations start to finish, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and full system changeouts
  • Set the pace and the quality standard on the job while directing an install helper or apprentice
  • Pull and stage equipment and materials, and verify job specs before heading to the site
  • Complete duct modifications, line sets, venting, condensate, and electrical connections to code
  • Start up and commission each system, verifying performance before leaving the home
  • Walk the homeowner through the new system, warranty, and maintenance expectations
  • Keep the truck, tools, and jobsite clean and turn in paperwork the same day
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Three or more years of residential HVAC installation experience, including time leading a crew or running installs solo
  • Confident on changeouts, new construction or new system installs, ductwork, and refrigerant line work
  • EPA 608 certification
  • Able to read job specs and solve install problems on site without creating a callback
  • Strong customer presence and the ability to explain the work clearly and respectfully in a customer's home
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
