Euro Pool Group is Europe’s leading logistics services provider, specialised in returnable packaging solutions with the divisions LPR managing pallet pooling and Euro Pool System providing reusable trays for fresh produce. Revenue exceeds €1 billion. The work location for this position is Rijswijk.
The functionThe CHRO Europe is responsible for the HR function for the Group and sparring partner to the Management Board of the Group.
HR is in the lead of the development of the Group HR strategy and implementation of the HR plans and acts as a critical link between the Group and the Divisions as well as leading Group HR projects.
The position reports to the CEO and will ensure consistency across divisions whilst empowering Divisional Management to drive Group HR initiatives forward.
Experience
- 10 years experience as Group HR Manager or HR Director in an international B2B environment. Preferably in logistics or a related business. Is familiar with a semi-matrix structure and environment.
- Able to design an HR strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives and translate it into an effective and efficient HR organization.
- Extensive experience and expertise in HR management; performance management, succession planning, learning and development, talent acquisition/recruitment, comps&bens.
- Proven ability to lead change effectively and build support across the organization.
- Experienced in engaging with works councils and trade unions.
- Understands the basic financials related to Budgets, P&L etc.
- European nationality, fluent in English and preferably German, French and/or Spanish.
