Position Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and production of power transformers in our Rincon, GA manufacturing facility.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical expertise in electrical design and the ability to work closely with manufacturing to ensure products are accurate, reliable, and built to specification. You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into manufacturable designs and supporting execution on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems and components for power transformers including windings, insulation systems, and connections
  • Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and design documentation
  • Perform electrical calculations including load, impedance, losses, thermal performance, and short‑circuit analysis
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and buildable
  • Support production by troubleshooting electrical and design‑related issues on the shop floor
  • Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
  • Review and validate bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, and specifications
  • Drive continuous improvement in design, cost, quality, and lead time
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals (power systems, circuits, electromagnetics)
  • Experience performing engineering calculations related to electrical systems
  • Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Hands‑on experience working with manufacturing or production teams
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in transformer design, power systems, or high‑voltage equipment
  • Knowledge of insulation systems and thermal performance in transformers
  • Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC)
  • Experience with ERP/PDM systems
  • Exposure to testing and validation of electrical equipment
