Your Opportunity to Make an ImpactAs a Team Lead, Warehouse Operations
, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse receiving and shipping activities while leading and supporting a team of warehouse associates. You will play a hands on role in scheduling staff, monitoring productivity, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement through the effective use of WMS and ERP systems. This role is critical to ensuring efficient warehouse operations, strong employee engagement, and exceptional service to internal and external customers.
You Will Do
- Lead, train, and coach warehouse associates; support hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Oversee daily warehouse workflows including receiving, shipping, scheduling, and task assignments.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards; ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation and review shipping documents for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records, work orders, and warehouse documentation.
- Communicate operational priorities, procedures, and objectives to the team.
- Resolve employee issues and collaborate cross functionally to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements using WMS and ERP systems.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams.
- Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Familiarity with parcel shipping systems and LTL carrier processes.
- Ability to operate and train others on forklifts and yard trucks.
- Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
The salary range for this role is $21.50 to $23/hr this range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
