Production Planning & Schedule Control- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed production plans aligned with the facility master production schedule.
- Translate strategic production goals into executable daily, weekly, and monthly plans.
- Ensure production plans are realistic, achievable, and fully integrated across departments.
- Audit production schedules, work orders, and system data daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify production status through direct, on-site walking and physical confirmation of work in process.
- Reconcile discrepancies between scheduling systems and actual floor conditions.
- Maintain disciplined documentation and accurate records of production status and changes.
- Closely monitor production progress to identify delays, constraints, or deviations from plan.
- Proactively flag schedule risks and anomalies before they impact customer commitments.
- Demand, document, and track recovery plans for any missed or at-risk milestones.
- Follow up relentlessly on corrective actions until recovery is complete.
- Use the current production scheduling and ERP systems as the system of record.
- Create and maintain supplemental Excel-based or visual tracking tools to enhance visibility and follow-up.
- Develop clear, concise reports and dashboards for daily and weekly production reviews.
- Ensure all planning data is organized, traceable, and audit-ready.
- Lead daily production meetings with operations, production control, maintenance, and support functions.
- Clearly communicate priorities, risks, and recovery actions to plant leadership.
- Hold teams accountable for commitments while maintaining a collaborative, problem-solving approach.
- Serve as a central coordination point between production, materials, engineering, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting 24/7 operations
. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, analysis, reporting).
- Strong documentation, record-keeping, and audit discipline.
- Proven ability to identify issues quickly and drive corrective actions to completion.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand complex manufacturing flows.
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable working on the plant floor and validating information firsthand.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Confident communicator capable of leading daily production meetings.
- Results-driven mindset with a low tolerance for missed commitments.
- On-site role requiring frequent walking throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Exposure to industrial environments including noise, equipment, and production areas.
- Availability to support off-shift or weekend issues as required by a 24/7 operation
