We are currently recruiting for a Performance & Capability Leader (PCL) for the Electrical Maintenance team at the Savannah River Mill in Rincon, Georgia. This is a key role that will provide leadership for the electrical maintenance team. This role will work with the hourly leads to ensure alignment on expectations, identify skill building opportunities and establish RREs with key measures re: environmental, health & safety, compliance, quality and reliability.

Our TeamThe Savannah River Mill facility is part of the Georgia Pacific tissue, towel, and napkin paper products manufacturing operations. What You Will Do- Lead the organization toward excellence in safety, environmental, health, and compliance by identifying and resolving hazards with critical and high risks (risk management)
- Lead, mentor, coach and hold direct reports accountable for the maintenance department results that are impacted by people, performance and capability
- Align to asset reliability and operational strategies in the department and ensure team members have the right capabilities needed to execute these strategies
- Ensure the annual performance development process is successfully carried out for employees in the department and are aligned with mill and department goals with ongoing meaningful coaching is provided
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, MEs, RC and AAL to maintain equipment and ensure reliability excellence
- Responsible for team member selection, development, and improvement outcomes
- Responsible for daily maintenance work and outages
- Leadership experience in manufacturing, including coaching and developing employees
- Demonstrated understanding of reliability and standards
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word, and the ability to learn various PC-based applications
- Experience using SAP
- Experience managing day to day maintenance daily work along with managing outages
- Proficient knowledge of electrical reliability concepts
- Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience in a maintenance setting
