Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Hours: M-F, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Eastern Time
Aertssen Logistics USA, Inc. seeks an Assembler 1 to join our growing team. This position supports the team in the final assembly of heavy equipment, including operating and pulling machines, and performing minor assembly work. It also consists of conducting inspections to ensure each assembly meets quality standards before delivery to the customer.
Requirements- Operates, pulls, and performs pre-delivery inspections on heavy equipment.
- Assembles and installs basic components, including telematics, tires, seats, attaching buckets with quick couplers, and lights.
- Follows detailed instructions to ensure accuracy and safety in all tasks.
- Uses hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment appropriately.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment to meet production goals.
All this is always carried out in accordance with our company's quality, environmental, and health policies.
Qualifications- Previous experience in assembly line work or technical services on machines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Willingness to learn and follow standard work procedures.
- Ability to safely lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds and perform regular physical tasks using proper techniques.
- Comfortable working in small or confined spaces and tight loading areas while maintaining situational awareness.
- Ability to climb up, under, around, and over large equipment and work safely at heights of up to 30 feet in accordance with safety procedures.
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round and in non-climate-controlled warehouses.
- A current, valid driver's license, with an insurable driving record, is required.
This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role. The essential functions of this position include the operation of heavy machinery, construction equipment, powered industrial trucks (including forklifts), or the supervision of employees performing such duties. Performance of these duties while impaired could present a substantial risk of serious injury to the employee or others.
As a result, this position is subject to pre‑employment and other drug testing requirements consistent with Company policy and applicable state and federal law.
