Location:

Rincon, GA

Shifts:

- Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM | Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

- Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM (Night Shift Experience Required) | Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

- Sunday to Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Job Summary:

The Production Associate oversees work at various stations along the production lines, focusing on the processing of poultry food products. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety requirements, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Prevent and report unsafe acts and conditions.

- Follow Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management protocols.

- Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that product quality meets specifications set by Quality Assurance (QA) and USDA standards.

- Perform necessary quality checks during production to maintain quality standards and meet production goals.

- Equipment Management:

- Monitor and ensure all equipment throughout the departments is operating smoothly and efficiently.

- Teamwork and Supervision Support:

- Assist supervision in selecting and retaining team members by fostering a positive teamwork environment.

- Collaborate with supervisors to maintain quality standards while achieving published production and Quality Index goals.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.

- Night shift experience required for relevant shifts.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.

- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs as required by production tasks.
