Civil Concrete Finisher JM in Rincon, GA; Savannah area

Graywolf is seeking Civil Concrete Finishers #3127 at our Rincon, GA job site in the Savannah area. This is a direct hire, project assignment that is expected to last 4‑8 months. Schedule is 5‑10 days with possible Saturdays, Per Diem Eligible for >60 miles, range of pay $31‑33.

A JM Civil Concrete Carpenter constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and patent type form systems using hand tools and power tools within tolerances that conform to drawings and specifications, as well as directing and training Civil helpers to do the same.

• Work safely around the hazards associated with the construction field.
• Use hand, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic tools in a safe manner.
• Identify all tools and equipment in Civil.
• Experience with SIMS forms, form pour, concrete, grout, rebar will be required.
• Radius forms, haunch forms, fireproof beams, install block outs and pipe sleeves.
• Layout and build templates for anchor bolts.
• Full knowledge of OSHA rules for scaffold and ladders.
• Knowledge of and understanding of hand signals and signal equipment with operators.
• Construction Math – demonstrate competency in construction math required in trade practice, including fractions, decimals, geometry, use of formulae, and trigonometry.
• Blueprint Reading – correctly read and understand plans, isometrics, arrangement drawings, details, specifications, erection manuals and/or blueprints and make competent decisions based on measurable criteria.

• Three (3) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Civil Carpenter with experience in concrete finishing.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre‑hire requirements.
• Completion of Safety related certifications such as OSHA 10 or Safety Council programs as required by company and/or client.

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12‑hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
• Work at heights with fall protection, work from manlifts, baskets, JLG’s etc.
• PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required.
