Warehouse Technician

Position Overview

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Warehouse Technicians (Forklift Drivers) at our Rincon, GA facility to work in a high‑energy and dynamic organization. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour

The facility operates 24/7, 365 days per year. Warehouse Technicians work a 12‑hour rotating schedule that includes holidays, weekends, and overtime, with 14 days off every four‑week period. Work is performed in an environment that may be hot, cold, dusty, and noisy and involves exposure to dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.

• Operate mobile equipment at heights with various attachments to move material throughout the mill and ensure a smooth flow for production.
• Maintain high standards for quality and product safety in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure that equipment stays in a competitive state through troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Effectively communicate information to the team through verbal, written, and electronic means.
• Work in an industrial environment with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, dirt, chemicals, and loud noise.
• Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks throughout the 12‑hour shift.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with others or as part of a team.

• At least two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• At least one year of experience operating machinery in a warehouse environment.
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Experience with SAP or another inventory management system.
