Warehouse Worker - Clamp Truck Operator - 1st Shift

Days/time: Sunday to Wednesday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $20 per hour + $2 shift differential on Sundays

• Utilize a Stand Up Clamp Truck
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload trailers
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Complete daily logs and record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber

• No prior experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer‑service skills, multitasking, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to work the required schedule and location
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
• Position designated as safety sensitive; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely; accept responsibility for own and others’ safety

• Remember and understand instructions; see and verbally communicate; vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus
• Move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
