As a Lift Truck Operato
r, you will play an essential role in supporting our warehouse and distribution operations by safely moving, storing, and shipping products throughout the facility. You'll help ensure inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfillment, and safe material handling while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and workplace safety. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will help keep our distribution network running smoothly
- Safely receive, store, move, and ship products while ensuring accuracy and minimizing product damage.
- Load and unload pallets, stack and organize inventory, and pick customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including sit-down forklifts and other lift trucks as needed.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and support daily warehouse operations.
- Perform product replenishment, inventory consolidation, and other material handling activities in warehouse storage areas.
- Inspect products for quality and quantity throughout the material handling process and resolve routine inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, perform minor maintenance, and report operational concerns as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and equipment maintenance activities.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and warehouse operating standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
- 1-3 years of forklift operating experience with demonstrated proficiency in warehouse material handling operations.
- Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, and shipping products within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience operating RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory tracking tools.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections, identify issues, and complete minor maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices, OSHA regulations, and safe equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and working knowledge of inventory control processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
The salary range for this role is $17.30/hr. to $20.70/hr this range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
