Position: Middle School Principal
Location: Ryerson Middle School
Date Available: on/about September 1, 2026
Salary Range: $ to $ commensurate with experience and per the current RAA salary guides until a new RAA Agreement between the RAA
and Ringwood Board of Education is ratified

Requirements:
- Valid NJ Principal Certificate
- Experience as a Principal, Vice Principal, or Supervisor in a public school district
- Minimum of three (3) years of school experience other than leadership in a public school
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective team leader
- Experience with the Danielson Framework for Teaching
- Knowledge of Balanced Literacy
- Demonstrated ability to use data to inform instruction
- Ability to articulate models of project-based learning
- Evidence of a coaching and modeling approach to teacher/staff development
- Team approach to problem solving
- Understanding of scheduling complexities
- Familiar with middle school specific principles found in “This We Believe”, “Quality Middle Schools Open & Healthy”, and “Schools to Watch” Essential Elements
