Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support store teams and guests with strong customer service and clear communication.

• Provide customer service to customers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, and/or property-related concerns, and notify management and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, stock areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; assist with access control as directed; and help to maintain orderly customer flow during peak business periods.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates to on-site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• Able to ride a bike.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
