GCON is looking for an Assistant Project Manager with specialty running high tech programs and creating exceptional owner relations! The ideal candidate is technically and administratively advanced with potential aligned owner's rep experience with high tech and commercial projects/programs. As Assistant Project Manager, you will serve as an onsite point person/customer liaison and responsible person for every project you are assigned to.

You will work alongside the Project Manager to oversee program management and trade partner facilitation all while ensuring safety on the job site and implementing continuous improvement practices to achieve excellence in all project aspects.

• Assist with project/program build
  -out for high tech client office and datacenter fit outs.
• Engage in preconstruction of project (e.g, estimating, buy out, logistics, scheduling, and pursuits).
• Support the operational plan and assist the Project Manager and Business Unit Lead (BUL) on new revenue pursuits and presentations.
• Support client relationships to help the Project Manager and Business Unit Lead (BUL) grow business portfolio and profitability.
• Support oversight and coordination of contract staff (1099’s & consultants).
• Review and understand conceptual / schematic scope narratives, specifications, and drawings to provide appropriate and effective constructability input to influence the design.
• Support timely and effective project closeout, adhering to GCON’s standards for closeout processes.
• Maintain engagement with trade partners, Architect/Engineer (A/E) team and client through actions of accountability and collaboration, helping to support project vision and sharing lessons learned.
