Construction Coordinator – Semiconductor

Rio Rancho, NM

Type:
Contract + full benefits

Pay: $45/hr - $50/hr

We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing project near Albuquerque, NM. This field-based role coordinates contractors, vendors, and tool owners supporting the installation of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS/OHT) within semiconductor facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate AMHS/OHT installation activities and construction sequencing
  • Coordinate electrical, mechanical, rigging, seismic, carpentry, and other trades
  • Serve as the field liaison between contractors, AMHS vendors, and End Users/Tool Owners
  • Review AMHS design packages, drawings, schedules, and installation requirements
  • Coordinate contractor mobilization, equipment/tool move-in, and installation readiness
  • Lead daily contractor/vendor field coordination meetings
  • Resolve field conflicts, trade coordination issues, and installation constraints
  • Track construction milestones, work orders, change requests, and equipment signoffs
  • Maintain an active field presence to keep installation activities on schedule
Qualifications
  • Previous AMHS, OHT, semiconductor tool install, or related high-tech construction experience
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing, field coordination, and industrial utilities
  • Experience coordinating multiple construction trades and vendors
  • Ability to read construction drawings and design packages
  • Strong field problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to travel and support projects nationwide
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or related field plus 2+ years of semiconductor/high-tech construction or 5+ years of semiconductor/high-tech construction management experience
