We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position in New Mexico. This 21-day assignment spans from July 8 to September 29, 2025, with 24-hour call coverage on specified dates. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both OB and GYN cases, including FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, routine and complicated deliveries, and surgical gynecology. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform OB and GYN procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries
• Conduct and interpret OB ultrasounds, including level 1/screening
• Perform amniocentesis procedures
• Handle VBACs and repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office-based and minor gynecological care
• Conduct surgical gynecology procedures
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring
• Manage 24-hour call coverage
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico
• Laser certification preferred
• Experience with VBAC deliveries preferred
• Ability to work the specified dates in July, August, and September
• Potential for assignment extension
