- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and district stakeholders; conduct regular customer visits.
- Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers in the district; handle salary planning, career planning, corrective actions, performance appraisals, and provide formal updates to employees.
- Serve as primary interface with product divisions (tech support, training, spares, reliability) and prepare necessary business reports.
- Monitor CSD Award Program results and mentor program; execute escalation procedures.
- Plan and manage account planning with the District Sales Engineer; provide support plan for system sales to management, sales, and field engineering; forecast financial performance and ensure cost efficiency.
- Oversee system installation, including planning, reporting, execution, pre‑facility meetings, startup meetings, and process support identification.
- Manage RMA procedures, measure engineer effectiveness, maintain accurate customer engineer hours tracking, conduct cross‑checks and signatures, and take corrective action.
- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals; recommends changes to unit or sub‑unit policies; management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.
- Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance; administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.
- Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
