Procurement Specialist

Preferred Industry: Building Materials or Civil Construction (Must)

We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Materials Specialist to support procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and driving cost-saving initiatives while ensuring smooth plant operations.

• Manage procurement of raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and services.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts.
• Conduct competitive bidding and supplier selection.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and cycle counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory reduction initiatives.
• Perform Min/Max inventory analysis and recommend stock optimization strategies.
• Develop and improve procurement processes and purchasing policies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and Production teams to support business objectives.
• Participate in budgeting, cost forecasting, and procurement planning.
• Track procurement KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and company procedures.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a Building or construction environment

• Strong experience in procurement, contract negotiation, supplier management, and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud experience is an advantage).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
