A conservation-focused organization is seeking a Night Skies Assistant to serve at the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument in New Mexico. This unique Ameri Corps position focuses on collecting night sky quality data, promoting dark sky preservation, and engaging visitors through astronomy programs. Ideal candidates will have a background in environmental science or related fields and strong communication skills. Participants will gain hands-on experience in monitoring and public education while living in a remote natural setting.
