Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical unit, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. You will collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of medical surgical nursing principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Perform wound care and other specialized nursing procedures.
- Educate patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Medical Surgical Nursing Certification (CMSRN).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Proficient in performing physical assessments and interpreting clinical data.
- Ability to administer medications via oral, IV, IM, and subcutaneous routes.
- Knowledge of wound care principles and techniques.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment such as IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and ventilators.

Day Shift - Duration: 12 hours
- Hours:
6:00 AM – 6:30 PM - Days per Week: 3
- Contract Length: 9 weeks
- Start Date:

- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
